Gastineau Humane Society director retiring

JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) - The longtime director of Juneau’s Gastineau Humane Society says she is retiring.

KINY (https://is.gd/sKl6EF) says Chava Lee’s retirement date is dependent on the hiring and training of a replacement.

Lee estimates the retirement will occur around May or June.

Lee has headed the Gastineau Humane Society since 2001.
