WASHINGTON (AP) - The Tax Foundation says Washington’s Tax Freedom Day this year will fall on April 25.
The Washington, D.C., tax policy research organization says Washington will be the 41st state to reach the day when residents have earned enough to pay off their total federal, state and local tax bill.
National Tax Freedom Day is April 21.
