TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - A co-owner of a New Jersey company supplying industrial pipes, valves and fittings has admitted to lying to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency officials during a debarment hearing.

The Department of Justice says Victor Boski pleaded guilty Friday in federal court in Trenton to a count of making a false statement.

Boski and his company, National Industrial Supply LLC, previously pleaded guilty on March 4, 2009, to participating in a multi-year kickback and fraud conspiracy to defraud the EPA at the Federal Creosote Superfund site in Manville, the Diamond Alkali Superfund site in Newark, and to defrauding Tierra Solutions Inc., a general contractor based in The Woodlands, Texas.

Nine individuals, including Boski, and three companies have pleaded guilty or been convicted of charges arising out of the investigation.
