NEW ORLEANS (AP) - When the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival schedule was released in March, fans of Bruce Springsteen noticed his relatively modest May 3 concert time of 1 hour and 50 minutes.
NOLA.com ’ The Times-Picayune reports (https://bit.ly/1qX2XMh ) that would make for a much shorter show than typical E Street Band performances, which can go for three hours.
But now Jazz Fest producers have revised the schedule so Springsteen can play two hours and 45 minutes.
Festival organizers said Monday that Springstreen is now scheduled to perform at 4:15 p.m., nearly an hour earlier than previously scheduled, and end at 7 p.m.
Opening the stage will be Marc Broussard at 11:20 a.m., followed by Allen Toussaint at 12:45 p.m. and Voice of the Wetlands Allstars at 2:25 p.m.
