FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - South Carolina jumped to a four-run lead, hit three home runs and held on to beat Arkansas 6-4 in Southeastern Conference softball in Fayetteville.
South Carolina scored single runs in the second and third innings and scored twice in the fourth and sixth while Arkansas scored twice in the fifth and sixth innings, Arkansas’ Kasey Fagan also homered during Sunday’s game.
Arkansas falls to 25-20 overall and 3-12 in SEC play while South Carolina improves to 28-15 for the season and 8-10 in the conference.
