GLENWOOD, Iowa (AP) - Officials say a sewer main in the southwest Iowa city of Glenwood has been repaired.
The state Department of Natural Resources says the leak was repaired Thursday, the same day it was reported to the public.
City officials say the corrosion hole in the sewer main was discovered while working on lines in the area. Buckets to catch any dripping liquid were not needed as originally thought.
The city plans to hire a contractor to reroute the sewer main and remove the corroded main.
