Prince George’s County Police Chief Mark A. Magaw will be online Thursday afternoon to address questions from residents via Twitter.

In the department’s first ever “Tweet the Chief” session, Chief Magaw will address concerns and field questions from the department’s @PGPDNEWS Twitter account at noon Thursday.

The focus of the online session will be to field quality of life concerns from residents in six areas of the county — including Marlow Heights, Glassmanor, Langley Park, East Riverdale, Suitland, and Kentland — that are part of the Transforming Neighborhoods Initiative.

“We’d like to stay focused to quality of life issues in the focus areas in particular,” county police spokesman Capt. Steven Yuen said. “But if it comes up, we’ll address it as best we can.”
