I have attended a few Tea Party events in Tucson, Ariz. One was at a baseball stadium, at which there were 10,000 to 12,000 people. There were signs of all kinds but none that I saw were obnoxious.

Several speakers attended and spoke of Tea Party goals, such as reduced spending, obeying the Constitution and balancing the budget. When the rally was complete, everybody left in an orderly fashion and the stadium was as clean as when it started. Perhaps that is one of the primary differences between the Tea Party contingent and the far left. After the last presidential inauguration it took millions of dollars to clean up the national Mall.

Will the cities where the “occupy” mobs are gathering face similar costs? New York will find out as soon as the assembly permit runs out.
