SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Spurs forward Tim Duncan limped into the locker room Monday night after getting hurt in the first quarter against Golden State.

Duncan fell to the floor and immediately reached for his left foot. Replays showed that the 34-year-old All-Star appeared to roll his foot when he came down after hitting a short jumper.

The extent of the injury was not immediately known.

Spurs guard Tony Parker looked at coach Gregg Popovich and winced while Duncan remained on the floor for more than a minute. He needed help limping off the court.

Duncan has started every game this season but one _ on Saturday again Charlotte, when Popovich sat Duncan for fear of injury on the second night of a back-to-back.
