EVIAN-LES-BAINS, FRANCE (AP) - LPGA Tour Commissioner Mike Whan says the Evian Masters in France will become the fifth major on the LPGA Tour starting in 2013.
Whan announced Wednesday that the Evian Masters will be the “final major on the LPGA Tour.” He called the tournament “a new page in women’s golf history.”
The tour’s other majors are the Kraft Nabisco Championship, the U.S. LPGA Championship, the U.S. Women’s Open and the Women’s British Open
The Evian Masters began in 1994.
