CHICAGO (AP) - Dave Greeley is stepping down as president of the Chicago Fire after two years.
The Fire said Wednesday that the move will take effect at the end of the month, and he’ll serve as an adviser until the end of the season.
A search for a replacement will begin immediately while Javier Leon, managing director of parent company Andell Sports Group, oversees operations.
Chicago is 5-5-5 this season, stuck in the middle of the pack in the MLS Eastern Conference.
